Multimodal Literacy and Digital Storytelling
Multimodal literacy is important because not every student learns in the same way. By utilizing multimodal literacy, it teaches students to look at things with different perspectives and it allows for furthering our skills so that we are ready for our ever-changing world. One example of multimodal literacy is digital storytelling.
Digital Storytelling is utilizing computer based tools to tell stories by using pictures, videos, music, voice audio, words, and transitions. They typically focus on one topic and can vary in length.  These stories can be personal or the retelling of a historical event. Above is a story that I created called "Finding My Place".
